Rasheed Davis, the alleged pimp, is being charged with bringing the girl to the hotel, physically bringing her into Room 106 at the Holiday Inn, and forcing her to have sex with Lawrence Taylor. Lawrence Taylor paid $300 for this interaction.
It is now being said that the facial assault, a black eye, was already on the girls face when she arrived at room 160.
The girls name is not being released. They did say that the girl, who has not talked to her family since March, contacted her uncle with an arrival spot as to where she would be when she came back to the city. The uncle contact NYPD who were there when she reached the city to arrest Rasheed Davis. It was then that the Ramapo Police were contacted and sent to the Holiday Inn hotel room. The young 16 year old girl is now reunited with her uncle.
Christopher St.Lawrence, Town Supervisor, is saying that Taylor was cooperative. The Holiday Inn htel room was approached at 3:54 am. Police Lt. Brad Weidel said that when they approached the room, they knocked on the door, and got no answer. Announced that they were police an still no answer. They gained access to the room and found Taylor in the bed. He was told he was being arrested and they say he was cooperative.
They are not clear if the girl resisted having sex but due to the girls age, it is a charge of rape none the less. There was a bottle of liquor found in the room although during questioning of everyone involved, no one seemed to be under the influence. No drug tests were administered. It is believed that Taylor was in the hotel only for that one night.
The arraignment under Judge Arnold Etelson will determine a set bail or he will be sent to Rockland County Jail, in New City, New York.
