Former NY Giant, Lawrence Taylor was arrested for the rape of a 15 year old girl.
Town of Ramapo Police, (Rockland County, New York) picked up LT at the Holiday Inn right off the NYS Thruway, in Montebello New York. 51 year old Taylor is facing a felony rape charge. The 15 year old girl is said to be a runaway from New York City and not from the area where the incident occurred.
The girl is said to have been under the control of a pimp, who was arrested today as well.
Taylor is being held in the Town Of Ramapo Police Station holding center until his arraignment Ramapo Justice Court this afternoon. One of the charges considered is a third degree rape which is a charge involving sex with a minor. It is said that the girl was also beaten during the incident.
