4Ts - Tunes on Tuesday!

First up on #4Ts for today is a track from someone who I think has a lot of talent. He is currently working on his first Mixtape 'Book of Matthew Vol.1' as well as tuning his skills. His TSM Records family has taken Mattik under his wing and because of such, he is progressing every day.

Mattik Featuring Ace Cito - Higher

Next up I have two videos from a group that is no stranger to #RTWK and its readers! Out of Long Island, New York, I have featured these 3 gentlemen on 4Ts, Mixtape Monday and Follower of the Week. This is one group that I will continue to support, so, with that said, here are two new videos from L.I.E.

L.I.E  Featuring Capitol E - Swag it Out

L.I.E. - I Bet

Last but not least I have a track off one of the Mixtapes that was posted yesterday for
#MixtapeMonday. Here is a track from YD off his latest project 'New Luke-O.'

YD - Light Up

Mixtape Monday!!

I m going to start todays #MM with a tape that should have been posted a long time ago.
If you have been following #RTWK for a while, the artist and his music will be of no surprise!

Next up, I have an artist out of Western PA. YD and his Moola Gang fam have been featured on #RTWK before as Follower of the Week and some single tracks on #4Ts.

YD recently dropped, New Luke-O, hosted by another #RTWK regular, DJ Schemes.

Follower of the Week: @RDC_ENT

Today's FoTW is well deserved!! These dudes have been sending me tracks for months and as I have said before, the more you push, the more I am willing to help and support.

@RDC_ENT

Runnin' Da City Entertainment is bringing a unique, new sound to the world of Hip Hop. With six members from both Africa and Costa Rica, their style is anything but ordinary.

Sapp, P Eazy, Y-O, Jay-Lou, Zo and Kenito know that hard work and perseverance is the key to RDC success. Although they have only been on a heavy grind for the last two years, the members of RDC have become a family over the last ten years. These six men have been taking advantage of every opportunity that comes their way. Trying to come up as an artist out of the DMV has proven to be a road full of huge potholes and often times, dead ends but RDC is prepared to fight all obstacles.

What makes RDC enjoyable to listen to, is the diversity found within the group. With six members, there are different styles of flow, different stories to tell, different forms of creativity, different performers, all keeping the collective RDC experience interesting.

Keeping it all in the "family" is another thing I love about RDC. When you have your own producers, P Eazy's brother J-Sparks and your own engineer, Kenito, to mix down a track as soon as the recording phase is finished, there is no excuse for laziness. RDC knows how to exercise all of its abilities as well. Not every track has all six members, which I think is key. If every track has all six members laying out 8 bars, what good will that do anyone? You have to pick who fits on the beat, who can relate to the story trying to be told on a track, etcetera, for any track to work let alone one coming out of a group like RDC.

Performing throughout the DMV has had a major impact on RDC and their presence in the area.
The more shows and appearances you do, the more you are self promoting so RDC has been doing the most to help themselves.  Opening for acts like Nipsey Hustle,  Mac Miller and Young Money, to name a few, as well as hosting DCs Lotus Lounge, the RDC fan base has quickly become something serious.

Follower of the Week: @TravisDupri

@TravisDupri

Travis Dupri Williams has become a name well known in a short period of time.
Beginning his rap career in 2008, he has come a long way in just 3 years.

Born in DC September 1988, he had been influenced by the culture surrounding
him from a young age. Like most little boys, growing up Travis had dreams
of being in the NFL and was a three sport athlete. While attending school at both
Tuskegee and Marshall University, he was an athlete on campus,
but knew music was his real passion.

Travis Dupri dropped his first mixtape in 2008, Mr. Popular.
The release of Mr. Popular lead to Travis gaining fans not only statewide in WV or nationwide
but internationally as well.

It wasn't until two years later that he dropped his EP, The Roots.

The Thunder is the all Navy with Red accents on stitching and lace panels with a White Outsole.
The Thunder is inspired by the more Full Bodied, darker beers.

In contrast, the Cutler is inspired by the Light beers.

LOVE the Native American color palette on this Chuck.
The tan, teal and red laces really play off each other so well.
The fringe pattern on the teal adds another element of design that catches the eye right away.

Although these are leather, making them with a perforated upper,
makes them perfect for the Spring/Summer season.
