Ruin -Free Money Rec/Cash Money Rec

I introduce to you, Ruin, the newest female artist signed to
Free Money Records/Cash Money Records!!

Brandy Alexander AKA Ruin would like to be known as raw, intense and bangin'. From Richmond, Virginia, she enters a male dominated game as a breath of fresh air and is here to create her own path! She has been doin' her thing for years and was once crowned Queen of the South by The Source Magazine. She is ready to reclaim her crown and take over the thrown!

Ruin began writing when she was in the fifth grade. Her teacher had encouraged her class to write and recite rap lyrics for their D.A.R.E program. SHortly after this she began to kick it with her DJ uncle while he would spin at parties. It wasn't long before the two started to work on perfecting Ruin's skills as an emcee and entertainer.

In an interview with The Source Magazine, Ruin stated, "Being a female in this game is hard as hell. The Majority of the men don't respect you like they would another man, when you can be just as tight or even better." Although it may be harder for a female emcee, that has never stopped Ruin. In July 2005, she entered the Billboard 100 for R&B and Hip-Hop at the number 31 spot.

As well as The Source Magazine, Ruin has also had pots in BREAK Magazine and SEA Magazine.

Ruin's My Life Style The Mixtape Vol. 1, Hosted by Remy Ma and released through her Production Company Blaq Psyircle Ent. LLC has been receiving major reviews from radio stations up ad down the eat coast.

Her mixtape, Southern Smoke: The SouthSide Superstar Hosted by DJ Smallz, is currently available on datpiff.com

Be on the lookout for Ruin's LP 'The Movement' featuring hit singles such as "Southside Superstar" and "The Parking Lot" featuring Sean Paul.

Follower of the Week: @HasiWuu

Hasaan Wynn was born October 31st 1986 in Plainfield, New Jersey.

When Hasi Wuu was younger, he would listen to the music his older brother would play. It was then, at a young age, that Has found his first love, music! His musical influences include artist like Big L, Notorious B.I.G, The Lox, Joe Budden, Jay-Z, Nas, 2 Pac and Tribe Called Quest.

Hasi Wuu always listened to and appreciated music. It wasn't until he left New Jersey to attend school at West Virginia University, that he began to dabble in making music of his own. It started with just spitting a few bars while partyin' with friends and has now lead to him owning his own studio equipment and notebook after notebook of bars just waiting to be put on a track. Having his own equipment has made it possible for Hasi Wuu to get into the studio and put in work whenever he desires. This has lead to the release of two Mixtapes: DJ Presents Hasi Wuu The Star Attraction as well as his latest release, The Fatal Attraction.

It wasn't until after a tragic loss in 2007 that Hasi Wuu really started to take his music seriously. After the loss of his friend Joey, Hasi Wuu knew it was his time to get to work and make things happen in the name of Joey. With a picture of Joey above his TV, Hasi Wuu keeps Joey in his heart everyday and sees him as his biggest fan and driving force toward success. He wrote a song, "Letter to Joey," which was a release for Has. He got to release a lot of feelings about Joey, his death and not having him by his side anymore. Needless to say Joey will never leave Hasi's heart! FTW!

In Hasi Wuu's music you can hear the life he has lived, good and bad, triumph and tragedy. He truly writes what is in his heart. His tracks remind me of when music was a way to tell stories of the artists every day life, not just talkin about hot cars and naked chicks! He uses his music as a release. The beat talks to him and he responds! It is his passion for music that gave him the title for his latest mixtape, The Fatal Attraction.

Download Hasi Wuu: The Fatal Attraction here:

His hope is that his music can be heard by different generations and still be loved and still influence his fans. He wants his music to be timeless so no matter when you hear it, it is loved and appreciated.

Hasi Wuu is now teamed up with TSM Records. TSM standing for Tri-State Movement. In the last year the team has been on a heavy grind! They have released 4 mixtapes, two of which were the two Hasi Wuu releases. Also, Hasi Wuu and the TSM team had the chance to open for Lupe Fiasco when he came to West Virginia University to perform at the Sprite Step Off.

Perfect March Madness Bracket!!!

I know people who fill out 10+ bracket sheet in hopes that at least one will come out perfect!! Well, the odds of having a perfect sheet is said to be 1 in 13,460,000!!!!

I for one, am more surprised that ANYONE has a perfect bracket going into the Sweet 16 than I am to hear it is a 17 year old Autistic kid from Chicago!!

He picked Ohio over Georgetown, Northern Iowa over Kansas, Cornell over Wisconsin, and both Nova and Notre Dame being knocked out!

The 17 year old, Alex Hermann, is just as surprised as anyone else!! His brother said his bracket, along with everyone else he knows is shot while Alex is going into the Sweet 16 not missing one game!!!

After Alex and his brother Andrew had looked over the bracket a few hundred times, they were amazed!! Andrew, Alex's older brother, had helped him enter his team selections into the CBSSports.com bracket challenge, of course, entering the only one that doesn't have a prize!

There were 4.78 million brackets submitted on ESPN.com and the leader on the site even has 4 games wrong! I was excited before Syracuse and Florida State played their games in Round 1, at the potential of having a perfect West! hahaha

March Madness is when you see the biggest upsets, like #14 Ohio knocking #3 Georgetown out of the tournament in Round 1!! It is almost impossible to go an entire tournament without one game wrong due to this fact!! I know I fill out one bracket based on teams W-L Record, another based off mascots, one off colors, one with the team I want to win regardless of its impossibilities, and then one I really put a lot of thought into.

I am sure we will be hearing more about Alex Hermann and his 48 for 48 bracket!! I'm sure he is ready for the Sweet 16 games to start tonight to see if he can continue on his road to perfection! For tonight's games he has Kentucky over Cornell, West Virginia over Washington, Cuse over Butler and Kansas St over Xavier.

Here is a link to a website where they have a copy of his bracket sheet!

Good Lock Alex!!!

Daniel "Diggy" Simmons is definitely out to make a name for HIMSELF!! When listening to his music, you can hear him praise his family and he is thankful for all that has come his way, but he wants to pave his own road now! Diggy is definitely heading in the right direction with his flow, word play and is that really a 15 year old with the delivery? Diggy has a stupid swag for a 15 year old as seen in the "Mad You Look" video!!

Congratulations Diggy!!!

J.Y.

J.Y. is a 20 year old artist out of New Jersey! Getting the name Jynx from a girl in grade school after getting caught kissing on the playground, this Jersey rapper recently shortened his name to J.Y. Realizing there were many artists who go by the name of Jynx or Jinx he had to switch it up!

His musical influences began with his parents. While growing up his mother instilled in him music from the New Jack (swing) Era. His father had been doing work with people like Pete Rock and C.L. Smooth of Mount Vernon, New York. He has said that his mothers influence has lead him to love R&B very much and if he could sing, he would probably be layin' down R&B tracks rather than spitting out heat!

J.Y. brings more to the table then most artists his age. He tells stories of his brother and friends being locked up, teen pregnancy, providing for his family and the more emotional topic of the suicidal death of his father with his track "A Song for Todd."

He has been writing music since he was 7 years old and released his first mixtape in Spring 2008, "It's Daddy" Hosted by DJ Radio and Superstar Jay. He is currently working on his next mixtape, The Hiring Process, which has features from Max B and Cory Gunz. He is also working with Producers Nard-N-B, Rockwilder and Buckwild to name a few and artists like Joe Budden and Cory Gunz on his debut album that is set to be released later this year.

He currently has a song being featured on allhiphop.com:

Which Js will you cop saturday??

There are four pairs of Jordan's set for release on Saturday, March 20th!
Which pair will you cop??

Air Jordan VI Black and White - "Oreo"

In 1999, we saw the release of the Air Jordan IV "Oreo" that were low with white areas which had a less pronounced black splatter. The March 2010 release are over the ankle and have 4 areas of black with white splatter, midsole, heel flap and the lace clip, making it more noticeable!

"Silver Anniversary"
Air Jordan 3, 4 or 9 Retro!

These Anniversary pairs are mostly white leather, with hints of metallic silver on things like the lace holes. The 3s also have the white/off-white pattern around the toe and heel!! All three would be a great change for the avid AF1 fan!

So, now that you have seen all 4 pairs and have some info,
WHICH PAIR WILL YOU COP??
