Air Jordan 1 Low--- Not gonna Lie, I usually don't like lows, I rather wear mids but I like the detail on these. What I call "dimpled" leather and the swoosh like the inside of a brand new sweatshirt, I would rock these all fall!

Patrick AKA DJ Schemes began his journey at the young age of 16 years old. Coming from a long line of DJs, he began carrying equipment for a DJ cousin in NYC. He then began an apprenticeship with this same cousin. Proud of his Jamaican roots and his hometown of Brooklyn, NY, he has made a name for himself in the genres of Reggae, Soca, Hip-Hop and R&B. He has worked his way from Bar Mitzvahs to running the club scene in Pittsburgh, PA and Morgantown, WV. Working in Morgantown, he has been the DJ for club performances by Freeway in 2005 and Young Gunz in 2006.

Just this year he was signed to DTP DJs after visiting Atlanta for a DJ retreat! He has put out Mixtape FIRE with his Hip-Hop mixtapes Grind Flu Volumes 1-3, R&B mixtapes and is currently working on his Street Approved Musik Mixtape set to be released in the very near future! DTP DJ, Coast to Coast DJ ,Powerhouse DJ and the official DJ for Moolagang.

Queen Latifah releasing new Album

Queen Latifah's new album "Persona" is set to be released August 25th and I will definitely BUY my copy!! This album is said to converge Queen's strength in hip hop and the joy of pop which created an entire new sound for this album.

From her debut album "All Hail the Queen" in 1989 she has always put forth her great talent and tell amazing stories and lessons through her music. Now, I am only 24 and was 4 years old when that album came out, so my first Queen album was Black Reign in 1993. Although I was 8 goin on 9, I remember my sister, who was 19 at the time getting me in her room and playing the album. She used Queen to help get me into the music she was listening to because the message was good. U N I T Y! I remember dancing around with my sister to that song and being in her backseat with it blasting in my ear! Her last album was released in 2007, "Trav'lin' Light." Throughout her career we have seen her on The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, Hangin' with Mr.Cooper and, my favorite, LIVING SINGLE!!! It was her roll on Living Single that made me want to have my own music magazine or be involved in the music industry in some way!! She has been in movies such as House Party 2, Juice, Barber Shop 2, Beauty Shop and Last Holiday. She is a Grammy winner! She has been nominated for on Oscar! Golden Globe Winner!!

Goal: 50,000 pairs of Shoes in 50 Days!!

Zach Braff and Donald Faison, stars of the TV show, Scrubs, have joined forces with Soles4Souls to gather and distribute 50,000 pairs of shoes to the less fortunate around the world. Go to the website http://www.50000shoes.com/ to learn more about it! This began August 1st and is running until September 18th. Due to generous donations, they have collected just over 4,000 pairs to date! A donation as small as $5 will provide two pairs of shoes!

We often forget to be thankful for the things we have and this is a great way to give something you may have in abundance to someone who has none at all. All you sneaker/heel collectors who buy shoes that cost easily over $100 a pair, should really think about all the fresh, only worn once pairs of shoes you have and donate what you can. The $150 you just spent on 1 pair of Jordan's could have been spent on 30 pairs of shoes for the less fortunate!! Let's put our money toward something truly meaningful for once!!!

The first pair of Fusions I saw, the black and white joints a few years ago, I was not a fan of but these I NEED!!! To me these are the best of both worlds..the comfy fit of the AF 1 and the style and detail of the Jordan IV!!!

Reebok BB4600 RE-ISSUE

I am all about high top kicks!!! I know some people who wouldn't be caught dead with Reebok on their feet but that is just BANANAS to me!!! These kicks were first released in 1986, Reebok is bringing it back with three colors- all suede based!! The two pictured, White on Green, Red on Blue and Black on Grey. They will be re-released soon in Reebok outlet stores!!!

SORRY! I had to!

SORRY I made my first post about reality TV but it was something I saw when I first jumped on twitter this morning so I had to do it!! Now I will get into what this blog is more about. There will be times when I will have posts like that but they will mostly be about music, sneakers, clothes, etc etc etc! I am going to try my best to stay away from reality TV since it is already sweeping the nation! I'm goin to try my best not to let it flood REAL TALK!

REALLY KIM???

OF COURSE IT WAS JUST FOR TELEVISION!

Any one who watches The Real Housewives of Atlanta saw Kim "working" with Dallas Austin, the most versatile producer in music. Well, if you know anything about music and heard Kim sing, you had to know Dallas wouldn't work with someone who has NO TALENT!

Earlier today Kim was on her twitter taking shots at Dallas Austin, sending him these tweets:

"@dallasaustin what have you done lately aside from trying to be on "the Real Housewives of Atlanta" every season and every other show?" and "@DALLASAUSTIN get a grip honey I am beyond you and apparently you can't stop talking my name to get press. It's old news and no one cares!"

I am sorry but REALLY KIM??? I mean what has he done lately? Besides put out an album with a movie? Besides starting his 8 movement? Besides getting fans involved in his life by throwing 8er parties and having his idea of a scavenger hunt around the streets of Atlanta?? He has REAL talent. If you ask me, him being on RHOA may have put a face to the name for some people but in all actuality, it probably made people question his ability and integrity after seeing him "work" with her! To be honest Kim has made a fool of herself on the show since day 1 and it seems to be worse in season 2. WIGS?? Come on Kim! I don't know about anyone else but the curling iron looked pretty normal to me!! PICK UP THE PHONE AND CALL DALLAS...DON'T GO AT HIM ON TWITTER...that's corny!
