Wunda
Born to the same streets as Hip Hop, Sean Arif Stanley, took his Bronx birthplace for all it was worth! Some of Wunda's biggest inspirations come from the streets Wunda has began to take over, such as Jay-Z, Nas, Notorious B.I.G and Tupac. Goin by the name of Wunda AKA Wunda Bread, he has taken his God given talent and put it to great use!
Wunda has spent most of his life and his career in the streets of Rockland County! He has set out to devour artists in his area and has succeeded in Spring Valley, Nyack and Haverstraw. Doing so has created quite a buzz for Wunda around the county. He also heads back over the bridge into the boroughs of NYC to put his name on the line and has come out victorious.
He has also put together events in Rockland County to get him and members of his team some support! He released 'Handcuffin' Season' in November. His release strategy for the mixtape was great! Wunda promoted it during "Cuffin' Season." Once winter hits everyone wants someone to share the cold bed with at night and he used that to help push the mixtape. He also held two shows, "Cuff Her if You Love Her" to coincide with the mixtape, one held Valentine's Day weekend and the other a few months later in April. The event consisted of performances by Wunda, Miss Liss and J. Will with music by A-Team's own DJ-@-One "The Go Getta" and Polo-P! All three artists are on the mixtape which you can download here:
There is no way, anyone, could ever doubt Wunda's ability! His musical ability has lead him to hold a catalog of over 700 songs. He has dropped other mixtapes as well. In 2006 he released, 'Live From Da 845' which is still available on iTunes. He has since released 'World of Wunda', 'Hood Hero' and 'What The Industry's Been Missin.'
His latest project, 'Bread Bronson: No Beats Safe' is also available for download!
He has performed at many colleges throughout the area such as Pace, Hofstra, U-Conn, U-Mass and Ramapo College. He has also performed in many NYC and Rockland venues as well as had his hit single, "Wrote You This Song" featuring J. Will, played on The New, New York, Power 105.1s Sunday unsigned hype show with Jovonn! He has also showcased his talent on 106 and Parks Freestyle Friday!
